Principal's Desk
A Gandhian and one of the most successful freedom struggle leaders
of the last century, Nelson Mandela, first President of South Africa had said,
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the
world." In the spirit of Gandhi, our college aims to strive for using
education as a tool to change the mind, body and spirit of students.
The college takes pride in having more girl students than boys in
overall numbers as well as in various classes in different streams.
Accordingly, it makes efforts to encourage girls at par with boys to come forth
in academic and co-curricular activities to express themselves and mould their
personalities. The college provides a healthy, green and vibrant setting for
students to develop themselves and contribute to society to the widest extent
possible.
The college also strives to instill confidence among students
coming from rural, tribal and backward areas so that they are imparted
knowledge and training at par with students in similar colleges. Various facilities
in tune with the changing times such as large computer lab, internet-Wi-Fi
connection, updated library and sports facilities are provided to our students.
Various new initiatives are underway and undertaken from time to time in the
college.
The college is situated in the archaeologically and historically
important city of Chhattisgarh, Ratanpur and with the blessings of goddess
deity we continue to strive to achieve our goalposts to become an institution
of excellence in future.
